As part of Black History Month events set at Northwestern, attend a screening of the 2010 Oscar nominated Walt Disney animated film “The Princess and the Frog,” 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in McCormick Auditorium, Norris University Center, 1999 Campus Drive. Set in New Orleans and the bayous of Louisiana, it is the first Disney animated film to feature a black heroine. Admission is free for Northwestern students with IDS. Tickets are $5 for Northwestern faculty and staff and the general public and will be available at the Norris Center Box office or at the door prior to the screening.
