Join us for a look back at the history of the YMCA in Evanston. McGaw YMCA President/CEO William (Bill) Geiger and Dino Robinson of Shorefront will discuss the history of the YMCA in Evanston, which includes the Emerson Street Branch YMCA, which served the African American community from 1909 – 1969.

A 20- minute film by Susan Hope Engel, “The YMCA in Evanston: 125 Years Strong,” will also be shown.
