The Woman’s Club of Evanston’s (WCE) annual benefit show, “Working Nine to W(h)ine…It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” performances are March 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 at The Woman’s Club of Evanston, located at 1702 Chicago Ave. Metered street parking, lot, and garage are conveniently located within walking distance of the club. All shows start at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase by visiting www.wcofe.org and clicking on “Benefit Show.” Tickets are $32.50 each. Additionally, premium seating tickets can be purchased for $40.00. A special pre-performance Opening Night Gala cocktail party will be held on March 8th from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., featuring the musical stylings of WCE members Jennifer French and Molly Conrad. Opening Night Gala cocktail party tickets are $15.

Proceeds from this year’s production will fund the Youth Job Center of Evanston, Inc. (YJC), a nonprofit agency that assists job seekers ages 14-25 in finding employment. The YJC also works with employers to help them meet their staffing needs by referring applicants who are trained in basic job skills and ready to get to work.

For this year’s benefit show, the WCE’s clubhouse will be transformed into the “hustle and bustle” of Evanston celebrated through work and life as approximately 200 volunteers work in front of and behind the curtain to create the theatrical production. The benefit show consists of 34 humorous song parodies on a variety of topics ranging from Charlie Sheen, to “naughty” Scrabble, and men that can’t dance.
